Very simply, a gasket set windshield has a rubber gasket that goes onto the body of the RV and the windshield is set into and sealed in the gasket. A glue-in windshield is set directly onto the body with urethane adhesive/sealant, and in some cases, is then finished with an additional cosmetic molding.
